In the past few months there has been a trend of the creative Minecraft server (glados.uis.edu:27000) not being used. However this trend is not the same on the PVP minecraft (glados.uis.edu:26000). There has been quite a bit of activity on the PVP server and the time has come to merge the two servers to reduce unneeded load on the gameserver. In order to merge the two server I have made a new world in the PVP server that is fully creative. The extra world has a separate inventory system in order to keep the current economy in the PVP worlds.

To celebrate the merger of the two servers, I invite all of you to log in to the PVP world (glados.uis.edu:26000) on Tuesday, June 12th around 8 pm CST. You can play PVP, Creative, or choose from several arenas like CTF. At approx. 10pm the creative server will be turned off and the merger will be complete.

If anyone has questions or comments please feel free to contact the club at csclub@uis.edu . Several landmarks are being copied from the Creative server over to the PVP server for preservation.
